An Update from the Hunters — June, 2026

It has been an incredibly whirlwind season for our family and for Havasu Lux Stays. With summer underway, we’re excited to share our latest news, a look at our six new ultra-chic properties, and our excitement for the summer season ahead.
On the Homefront
We recently took some time away to celebrate 24 years of marriage with a trip to Cabo San Lucas. It was the perfect moment to recharge and reflect on the incredible journey we’ve shared so far before diving into a busy summer season.
We were thankful to welcome our daughter Avery back home after she wrapped her freshman year of college. Her summer break will be short, though, as she made the GCU cheer team again this year and she’ll be heading to summer practices very soon.
We also recently celebrated our son Cole’s graduation from Grand Canyon University (GCU) with a degree in Business Management! We could not be prouder of his hard work and his decision to make Arizona his permanent home. He just moved into his very first apartment and he has officially joined our operations team at Havasu Lux Stays in Scottsdale. His brand new business degree and fresh energy on the ground is a massive win for us.
New Spaces + New Faces
For Havasu Lux Stays, business has been moving at lightning speed. We’re growing our portfolio of properties and our team to elevate every guest experience. We officially added six stunning new getaways to our luxury vacation rental portfolio in recent months:
Preparing and bringing these homes to market for our homeowner clients has been a fulfilling journey. With Lisa’s expertise in interior design and home staging and Matt’s proven business acumen and strategy, we fully support our clients every step of the way.
We’re happy to report that Lisa’s interior design business continues to thrive. She recently wrapped up two major projects—she reimagined a commercial office space and created an elegant yet cozy interior for one our newest rental properties. We’re truly a full-service property management team and we pour our hearts and souls into every detail to make sure both homeowners and our guests have a tremendous experience.
With so many new homes in our portfolio, we expanded our property cleaning and maintenance teams on the ground to better serve our homeowner clients. We also brought on a marketing strategist with decades of real estate and tourism experience—allowing us to focus more of our time and energy on making each guest stay truly memorable.
