The city boasts a 16-court dedicated complex, indoor courts, organized play, tournaments, and private courts at select vacation homes in our collection. Where to Play Pickleball in Lake Havasu
Whether you're a seasoned player or picking up a paddle for the first time, we want to help you make the most of your stay. Here are some of our favorite nearby places to play pickleball while you’re in town:
Mike Delaney Pickleball Complex at Dick Samp Park
1628 Avalon Ave. | Free
The Mike Delaney Pickleball Complex at Dick Samp Park has 16 dedicated outdoor courts, making it the largest pickleball facility in Lake Havasu City. Play is free, and the courts are organized by skill level to make it easier to find a good match.
The complex uses a paddle-rack system for open play. Choose the court group that matches your skill level, place your paddle in the corresponding rack, and rotate into games as your turn comes up. When all the courts are busy, the standard rotation is four players off and four on after each game.
There are restrooms, a drinking fountain, shade structures, bleacher seating, and wind slats. Courts 1–4 also have lighting, added in 2025. Peak play is generally from sunrise through noon, so early morning is a popular time to get on the courts.

The Ark Center
2700 Jamaica Blvd. S. | $5 per session
For indoor play, The Ark Center has three pickleball courts on a sports-court floor. Open-play times vary, so check the current schedule before heading over. The current cost is $5 per session.
Lake Havasu City Aquatic Center
100 Park Ave. | $3 per session
The Aquatic Center offers another indoor option, with pickleball scheduled during designated gym times. The schedule changes from month to month, so check the current calendar before heading over. The current cost is $3 per session.
London Bridge Beach Park
If you’re looking for another public option, London Bridge Beach Park has three outdoor courts.

Lake Havasu has an active pickleball community, with the Lake Havasu City Pickleball Association coordinating open play, round robins, clinics, lessons, and tournaments. The association currently has nearly 500 members, and its annual PickleFest tournament has attracted more than 260 players.
