An Update From The Hunters — October, 2026
Fall is full swing and while we're busy welcoming guests and preparing for the holiday season ahead, we've also been focused, as always, on making sure your guest experience goes well beyond the front door. We are California residents who split our time, spending part of each week in Lake Havasu. (Yes, we do a lot of driving!)
We want our guests to have the same amazing experience that we have when we come to Lake Havasu—not just a great vacation home. That means paying attention to the all the little details that make each stay and each guest feel special—both while you're in one of our homes, and when you're out exploring Lake Havasu.
This season, we’re…
Helping You live Like a Local
Outside our properties, we’re building out our collection of local guidebooks to help guests make the most of their stay in Lake Havasu. We've been adding our recommendations for the best activities for families and couples, local attractions, restaurants and dining, hiking trails, seasonal events, trip planning, and more.
Think of it as our growing list of curated experiences we'd share with friends and family if they were coming to town. Where should you eat? Which trail is worth getting up early for? What's happening around the lake this weekend?
Decking the Halls
Inside our homes, we're already getting ready for the holidays. Every Havasu Lux Stays property will be beautifully decorated for December, so guests arriving for a Christmas getaway can walk through the door and immediately feel like the holidays have arrived. No hauling decorations across the desert. No figuring out where to put the tree. Just show up, settle in, and enjoy your time here.
As an interior designer, this is my favorite part of our family business. I get to stage and decorate each home (our homeowner clients love that we handle this aspect for them), making every home luxurious, inviting, and cozy. Around the holidays, I get to kick it up a notch (or 3) and deck the halls across more than 20 homes. It takes a small army but there’s nothing like it to put our family in the holiday spirit.
Booking Up Fast
The next few months are booking up quickly. We're taking reservations for some of Lake Havasu's biggest fall and holiday weekends, including Halloween, Veterans Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas and the holiday season.
October brings spooky-season events and cooler weather, while Veterans Day features a full calendar of community celebrations. Thanksgiving in Lake Havasu means gathering around a big outdoor dining table, cooking in one of our well-appointed kitchens, relaxing by a heated pool, and enjoying time with those you’re most grateful for. And December brings twinkling lights, holiday events, and a vacation home already decked out for the holidays.
We're seeing more guests plan their trips around these experiences, and we love that. Lake Havasu has so much to offer, and we're continuing to find new ways to help our guests experience more of it. ALL OF IT! Whether you're planning a fall weekend, gathering the family for Thanksgiving, or dreaming about a December escape, we'd love to welcome you to Lake Havasu.
